It is with great sadness that we share the passing of William Barber Macke, Jr., of Nashville, Tennessee.
Bill was a founding member of American Insurance Alliance and contributed greatly to the organization. Bill started Macke Insurance in 1983, insuring the Manufactured Housing Industry. He served on the Tennessee Manufactured Housing Association and Foundation Board of Directors. Bill was most known for his gregarious personality, his love of seafood, and most of all his frequent visits to the Varsity as he passed through Atlanta. He loved to travel and was the life of the party. He was a season ticket holder of the Tennessee Titans and loved his tailgating group. He was also a member Elks Lodge #2473 in Madison, TN and a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 88 of Donelson, TN.
